Is Your Hair Long Enough?

Your hair must be at least 1/4” (the length of a grain of rice) or longer by the time of your appointment to do the treatment. Don’t trim before your appointment.

Accutane/Antibiotics

These medications can soften the skin which could lead to a “skin lift” during sugaring or waxing treatments. Accutane: You must wait 6 months after your last dose of Accutane to schedule. Antibiotics: You may take an appointment 14 days after your last dose.

Other Skin Treatments

Sugaring is not suitable for areas in which you are undergoing chemical peel, laser hair/tattoo removal, laser resurfacing, or dermabrasion.

Sun Exposure

You must wait a minimum of one week before sugaring areas that have been sunburned.

Allergies

Inform your sugarist if you are allergic to latex, sugar, lemon, or any other substances.

Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24-hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a treatment. No-shows and appointments cancelled WITHOUT 24-hours notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee. Please help support small business by giving us a chance to refill your spot when you have to cancel.

Note: Sugaring may cause temporary reactions such as inflammation, redness, hives/welts, folliculitis, breakouts, minor bruising, and/or over-exfoliation. Your sugarist will provide instructions on how to keep your skin happy after the service.
